Phil Greenspan Verie Collection |

In 1962 at the age of 12 I would wait til midnight and then listen to my transistor radio pulling in stations from Canada, Bermuda to the Mississippi. At 14 I went to the business offices of White's Radio log in NYC and purchased three log magazines that made ID's easier. School, job, family intervened but resuming DX'ing from Massachusetts in 1995 I acquired a Superadio III ($34.95) that had limitless battery power and with a subscription to DX News found on the newly invented internet I started to formerly contact stations to obtain verifications. Local interference and syndicated programming caused me to move away from the hobby but in cleaning my office I came upon these veries and thought some would be of interest. Now spending 6 months near Charleston, SC I loaded up the Superadio III and will be heading to the shore but first renewing my subscription (check is in the mail) which long ago lapsed. Best wishes.....Phil Greenspan
