DX Audio Service Archives

The DX Audio Service was published by Fred Vobbe for the National Radio Club from April 1985 until April 2015. The DX Audio Service was designed to serve the sight restricted, or traveling DX’er, and was popular with commuters, who listen as they drive to work. The DX Audio Service originally consisted of a 90 minute cassette and was issued once a month. The DX Audio Service features were similar to DX News but extends its coverage to FM, a Travelogue and air checks in the Marketscope segment. Near the end of its run the DX Audio Service shifted to CD’s.
The early issues that are on mp3 files were transcribed from the old tapes. After 2005, when e-DXN.com was established digital files were the norm for DXAS production the files were distributed as part of the e-DXN.com subscription.
